I don't think there is a better garage in MK for ensuring you get your car back in A1 condition and at the right price, nothing is too much for them to ensure you drive away as a very happy and contented customer and willing to refer them to all your family and friends.

This is the first time I have used this garage who were recommended by a friend. The service was friendly, the car was fixed quickly and the replaced parts were shown to me even though I didn't request this. All this for half the cost that I was quoted at my usual garage. This will now be my prefered garage for all future service and repair of my vehicle.

Used them to replace my Timing Belt and glow plugs and they gave the best price and completed the job in only 3 hours. Very good service.

My wife's car recently failed council MOT on two things, one was a defective tyre and the outer was a damaged flexible brake hose. From my previous visits Anglo's have advised that they can replace tyres but their not the most competitive, and suggested a number of recommend tyre fitters that could do the job at reasonable price, (the tyre was replaced by Tyres direct). Anglo's then booked my car in for the following day to have the brake hose replaced. Due to my busy working schedule Anglo's were able to store my wifes car the afternoon before, ready to be worked on the following day. A service that allot of other garages would not offer. On the day of repair, that afternoon i received a call to advised that failing part was replaced and the car was ready for collection, and as always, I was presented with the bill which was cheaper than I expected. I have to say that my wife and I have a special needs son, who my wife is the primary carer for. Her car is a vital and essential part of our son's support, their for we need every assurance, that, if the car needs attention the work that is carried out is to a high standard and at a reasonable price. On one occasions I believed the car would require major engine work, turned out to be nothing more than a clean out of an air management component. This was done for nothing more than labour This would been an opportunity to properly pull my pants down, and slap me with a heavy bill for work that did not need doing. Thanks to Anglo's professional ethics and practises this was not the case.

Fantastic service as usual , identified early deterioration of front wheel bearings which had been replecd last April so replaced them under warranty, I would not use any other garage, and recommend this garage to everyone I know

Julian and his team are fantastic. He has never let me down with repairs or costs involved. He always call you if you need to have additional work and would explain if it was urgent or a safety issue. I wouldnt go anywhere other than julian for MOT, Service and repairs. Only issue i have is because he is so popular I struggle to book in for an urgent job, however he has always tried where ever possible to see my car as quickly as possible. I have used Anglo's for car & van service & repair for many years, but this repair showed them to be first class in the matter of customer service. Not only did they perform a very complex repair job at a very reasonable price, but enabled me to continue working by loaning me a van free of charge while the repair, which took two weeks to complete, was being carried out. I can't imagine getting that kind of service anywhere else. I would recommend them to all my family & friends and have the confidence to use them to service my brand new Skoda Fabia.

Excellent first time experience with the garage which is great as they are local to us and we'll be using it again.

Great experience until I discovered a problem with my aircon (not part of the service) which was not present when I took the car in. When I called to raise the issue there was no offer of help forthcoming, no apology, a patronising attitude and a lack of willingness to even inspect the vehicle to identify the issue.

Booked my Honda in for a full service with gearbox oil and brake fluid change. Agreed a rough price on the phone and the final invoice was bang on. Even with a last minute request for engine flush. No hidden costs or nasty surprises. When I collected the car I asked the garage to quickly check something on the clutch pedal and they were more than happy to put the car back up on the ramp for a quick look whilst I downed quick tea. My request wasn't greeted by any huffing and puffing, just acknowledged and sorted. Very happy with both the car and customer service.

my car was booked into the garage next door,where i have been going for the past 25 years , for a full service and mot . unbeknown to us the garage closed the previous day due to bankrupcy. my wife took the car in for the appointment , and was about to put the keys through the letterbox , when a young lady from Anglos told her of the problem , if it had not been for this kindness , we would have lost the use of our car for an indefinite period. The young lady then arranged for our car to be serviced and mot'd that day ,all above and beyond the call of duty. i received a call when my car was ready , upon collection , everything that had been done to the car and the mot advisory notices wre explained in great detail. We cannot fault this garage in any way shape or form , and the young lady in particular. i will be recommending this garage to my family and my colleagues. superb old fashioned service and care for the customer , wins every time for me.

This garage works mainly on word of mouth and I can see why. No hassle, no fuss and great prices. Never feel like they have added extras for no reason and that's why I will go back EVERY time my cars need a service or MOT.

This garage is used by two of my workmates who recommended it to me. After my car failing it's MOT this year I was slighlty concerned by the initial conversation I had with the tester at this garage, but was quickly reassured when Julian ( I believe to be the owner ) came and spoke to me. His service was 100% and the overall service of the garage was very very good. My car was fixed promptly , work completed a day before It was actually booked in for ( as I chose to leave it with them ). And the invoice was not a shock at all, considering the work that was carried out I was pleasantly surprised. anglos serviced my car, identified a suspected fault, and rang me to tell me the cost. they also carried out a non standard procedure on my car that other garages had not heard of, and also cleaned my custom air filter - which i suspected had not been done by the previous garage who serviced my car. they also serviced my wife's car and everything was done on time and within budget.

I have been using Anglo Continental for a number of years now and would definitely recommend them to anyone. They are only a small company but their customer service is second to none, they always give a good service and do not overcharge, unlike some other companies.

When Myself and girlfriend and our three month old son, broke down on M1 On 3/6/11 I was a little concerned what the repair work was going to cost... How ever at that point I Did not know what was wrong with the car and had to phone a garage! I pulled out my wallet to find I had Anglo continental card with number, I called and explained the car had just cut out on me on the motorway and is there any chance i can take it to you?. I was very satisfied with there response and felt relieved to know they will help although we had to wait the following Thursday which we had know problem with that.When the recovery vehicle driver had analysed the car he told me the cambelt had snapped and could cost up to £500. We arrived from M1 to the garage unloaded the car and I found the staff very welcoming... They could see i was concerned and worried about what damage's was done to the engine. I kindly asked if they Knew what the price would be. A young Mechanic had talked me through the possible repair work which needed to be done and even took the time to take the engine apart and show me what had happened. So he told me it would cost up to £600 possibly worst case scenario £900.As it was due for a service we asked to get that done after the repair work. I was extremely satisfied with everything they had done. As my father had to help with the payment he was very satisfied too.

As usual, great service and cheaper than originally quoted. It seems they took less time than originally envisaged to do this job, and rather then making the bill match the quote, they charged me for the actual time taken which was very honest of them. I'lll definately be back next month for the MOT and service on our other car, and by default this will be the garage I choose to use for all our repair/servicing from now on.

They were as helpful as ever, the bill was less than I expected, the work was completed very quickly and the advisory work found in the MOT was only quoted for upon my request, there was no hard sell or pressure to have work done there and then. I have since booked back in for the advisory work as it relates to brake componenets and in my mind is necessary and wise to get this sorted quickly. I fully trust their diagnosis and quality of work, this is a garage I know I can trust and will happily pay for that.

Almost 6 years ago I was introduced to Anglo by a friend and since then I have returned to them time and time again. Their services and Mechanics are from a very high standard.So in return instead of phoning a friend I told a friend ..... All in all if this was an exam they would get top marks.

The company did my car immediately as I needed it urgently to get back to work - they were expremely honest with their prices ! I was given a quote initially after my car failed its MOT - and when the repair was completed because it did not take a full hours labour for repair, I was charged LESS than the original quote by approx £30. A very honest garage who I will strongly recommend to all I know ! Very friendly staff also which makes me want to go back - a rare find !

I have just had my car returned with a full service and a years mot. i was very pleased with how i was treated and i found the staff to be be very friendly. i asked a week before i had the car down how much it would cost for a mot and service and on the return of the vehicle it was £20 less then what they had originally told me. This work was undertaken at a cheaper cost than quoted because on closer examination the fault (to the exhaust system) was found to be repairable - the quotation being based on the worst case position of having to supply and fit quite costly replacement parts. It might have been easier and almost certainly more profitable to carry out the work as quoted but 'Anglo's' put my interests, as the customer, first. As a result, I saved something in the order of £150. That's why I use them.

Anglo wins my repeat business because the proprieter Julian is excellent in setting expectations and discussing the short, medium and long term costs he can foresee with maintenance. The service is reliable not only in conducting the work, but in the quality of the work and the prices charged. I feel that I'm giving my car to a friend who has my best interests in mind - conducting necessary work and giving options to postpone work that is not yet required to be done. It's a great place where the staff are all down to earth yet professional.

This is an excelent garage. They were recomended to me by a friend and I have now used them for many years, they provide an excelent service, are friendly, explain anything I ask to be explained without talking down to me, and provide excelent value for money. I get a much better level of service from them than I did from the local Mitsubishi dealership (not the one I bought it from which unfortunately closed).

I have used Anglo Continental for a few years now for servicing, MOT's and repairs and have always been a very satisfied customer. As a female who knows nothing about cars, in the past I have no doubt that I've been subject to unscrupulous garages charging for work that was not required and even in one case I was charged for work that they did not do! I really was very lucky to find Anglos and would never go elsewhere now. One thing that has always struck me about Anglo Continental is their complete honesty, if there's something wrong with your car they'll fix it for you - and at a fair and reasonable price too. If there's nothing wrong with your car then they'll say so and not try to get you to have unnecessary work done. I have witnessed first hand a few occasions when people were just screaming out to be 'ripped off' - one example was when I was waiting while my car was MOT'd, there was a very elderly gentleman, perhaps in his late eighties, who told one of the mechanics that he could hear a funny sound when driving. Julian took it out for a test drive with him and when they came back he said that there was nothing untoward and sent him happily on his way, how many garages would have told him he needed X, Y or Z doing for easy money? Anglos really have everything you could want in a garage - complete honesty, high standard of work, reasonable prices and great customer service, especially Shelly who is always so friendly and helpful. I've recommended Anglos to a few people and they have all been happy with the service provided too.

This garage was recommended to me several years ago and I would not take my car anywhere else. The staff have always been extremely helpful and cheerful and carry out work on my car quickly and efficiently. They go the extra mile and that's why I keep going back.

This is an old car which belongs to my mother and I was concerned that she was driving around with faulty power steering. This has now been put right and very quickly. I use the garage for my own cars which are in better condition than my mother's and have always been very happy.

Good Service. Minor niggle in that spilled oil from the service was not wiped up. This oil then dripped onto my driveway for couple of days after the service.

The battery kept running down because the tail lights would come on when the car was parked. A switch attached to the brake was found to be loose. It was tightened up and new brake lights fitted. This was done free of charge. We have been using this garage for about 10 years and this is not the first time that repairs have been carried out. We also have our MOT and annual service , we do about 6000 miles per annum , done by them. I highly recommend them to all my family and friends.

A truely wonderful garage

As a pensioner I was finding that the expense of taking my Mercedes to a Mercedes dealership was poor value especially because the work carried out was not performed satisfactorily. I have been to Anglo’s several times and have always been impressed with their service as being polite cost effective and always going that extra mile. At this last visit was much the same except this time because the problem was that of engine management I had asked the proprietor in advance for his advice. Mr Glover said he would have a go. Well the job didn’t go easily for him but he won throughin flying colours, and his charges didn’t reflect the problems.

This is an excellent garage, which has looked after several of my cars of different types over the years, and I have never had any reason to complain. They were recommended to me in the first place by two friends, who had used them for some years. They are 'old fashioned' in their level of service and friendliness, which I appreciate very much. I always take my cars to them for service, MOT and repairs. Their charges are always reasonable.

my 18 year old granddaughter took her car here for an mot, which they failed & told her it would cost around £400 to repair ( car is worht around £700 ). i took the car to 2 independant ford mechanics for a check & then to another mot station for an mot which strangely enough it passed with flying colours. how did they find so much wrong or were they just trying to con a young girl out of her money. in my veiw con artists. a couple of years ago my daughter took her car there also & it cost her about £100 as they said the brake pipes exploded while they were doing the mot. now i,m pretty sure we were conned then also. i will never go there again
