Professional, friendly, family run garage. We can do pretty much anything mechanical to pretty much any make and model of car. Hourly Rate £39 + VAT per hour.

Started in 1995, Firstdrive cars has grown steadily over the years from a small one man operation to larger and upgraded premises.

* Staff, 5 mechanics and Paul and Kate, the owners.

* The garage, 7 Ramps and a large reception and waiting area. If you choose to wait for an MOT or repair there is a comfortable waiting area with magazines and free WIFI. Kate or Paul will make you a tea or coffee while you wait. You can watch the work being carried out on the 32” TV in reception.

* Located just outside Stonehaven next to Fetteresso woods there are also some very pleasant walks or mountain and road bike rides you can do whilst waiting for your car. We can provide a map.

This was the first time i've used this garage- on a friends recommendation- but it won't be the last time. Its located 20miles away from my home but its well worth the extra hassle to go there. My final bill for work at this garage was nearly half of what i was quoted at a national-chain garage. Customer service was brilliant, they fit my car in at the last minute, the work was finished early and they even gave me a lift to the local train station. Couldn't recommend them more from my first experience.

I was fully satisfied with all aspects of the job done. Diagnosis of the problem and repairs needed was speedy and thorough. Parts were sourced immediately after diagnosis was completed. Booking arrangements were very professionally handled, my car was picked up on the day and a courtesy car left for my use. I was contacted by phone when the car was ready and it was even brought to the front of the garage while I paid the bill. I have used the garage before and have never had any complaints about their service. Firstdrive are first class!

This garage was recommended to by a friend after my car experienced a mot failure and subsequent excessively high quotation for repair from main dealer. First Drive were extremely helpful and provided a very reasonable quotation for the work. I was called to discuss quotations before any work was conducted and all work was completed in a reasonable time frame. The staff at First Drive were friendly and helpful. I was very impressed with the service from First Drive and have decided to use First Drive in future over main dealers for both my Subaru and BMWI. I would gladly recommend this garage to anyone.

Firstdrive is an honest reliable garage. He never works on your car unless he has spoken to you and explained what is needed and how much it will cost. Every time you go you are always made welcome and you never feel you are in the way. Paul works on all our cars and i wouldn't take them any where else. Firstdrive is a little way out off town so he provides a pick up and drop off service if needed. First class service and garage.
