Car broke down and transported to garage by RAC. Quote received for work was extortionate due to price quoted for new parts so car was transported to independent garage where final cost was less than 50% of original quote. Why do Fish Brothers double the price of the parts they supply, whereas the independent garage charge them at cost ?

Only issue that could not be resolved was the hesitation at low revs. As in 3 previous visits the garage could not reproduce this problem.

I have always used this garage since originally purchasing the car from them . I have always received courteous friendly and professional service from them and would have no hesitation in highly reccommending them to friends family and anyone who would listen

Excellent service Sean the service manager looked over the car and explained what the would do as there was a small problem with insulation showing between the dashboard and windscreen. The car had been cleaned and hovered out when I collected it which was a nice surprise and the service and work was completed well within the time specified.

Fish Brothers called me after insecting car to say I did not need new rear brakes at £275 as thought, but could clean down at £80 to prevent the noise caused by leaving car undriven for several months. Also reduced service cost as wrong one was done last time. Last year I was forced to use Blades Honda nearer to me in Cheltenham. They did the wrong service, badly explained and I do not trust them at all. It was a relief to go back to Swindon, though further and more awkward for me to drive. A nice courtesy car was arranged in advance.

We have always received the utmost courtesy from all the staff at Fish Brothers. The works has always been to a high standard. In fact we have no complaints whatsoever since we bought the car from them.

With Fish Honda in Swindon, there is always a residual oil smell on the leather steering wheel which I don't like and also settings for radio, dash lighting, steering wheel position are altered to minimum - after the first service I was annoyed. This is the second service, and I was expecting it and it is an area for improvement for the garage to get a A1 5* service from me.

I am very very pleased dealing with Fish Brothers Honda I find them excellent all round in every department and I have been dealing with them for 10 years now with no complaints at all. Every one is always friendly, ready to help and explains so you understand everything thats going on. I`would say an excellent company.

Fish Bros. Honda at Swindon were excellent, right from my initial contact regarding a service recall. Shaun was first class at reception, treating me with repect and making me feel valued. The work was carried out after a lunch break and was completed long before the estimated time. I would have no hesitation in reccomending this garage to anyone.

Booked a courtesy car which was clean, waiting and controls explained, did not expect a full tank of fuel but it would have been nice not to have the orange fuel warning light on and a range of 12 miles showing on the dashboard.

The guy on the service desk was a Trainee, and did a pretty good job. He was interrupted by a colleague, which was rude to me, and undermined him. Once he can talk more comfortably, without following his script, I'm sure he'll be very good. As a garage it is OK, but it never rises above average. Everything seems bit of a chore. There isn't a positive buzz. They should do a job swap with Fish Bros, Lexus, down the road, and learn how to do it properly! (We bought our Lexus there)

Fish Brothers is such an efficient and friendly garage, I bought my present second hand Honda there and I travel to Swindon from Bristol where I live especially to use their services, I could go to Honda at Cribbs Causeway but have always found them unhelpful and arrogant, its a shame I had not been asked to fill out this form when I uses the Cribbs garage with my old Honda, I would not have given them a glowing report at all. They refused to do my MOT without charge, which I believe is a service for all secondhand Hondas, which Fish Bros honour. All in all entirely satisfied with Fish Bros but not Honda Cribbs Causeway!

Staff were extremely helpful as i had a major problem with my brakes. Although my car was just out of warranty, Robin Fletcher did everything he could to help me and managed to help with the price of the repair. It's nice to see that good customer service still exists!!!

Wow..need had aproblem with Honda or my local dealer. After service is spectacular. Sam was able to squeeze me in last minute. Guys had my car ready by lunch time and called me mid morning to explain what was needed to pass the MOT. The reason why i drive Honda and WILL RENEW NEXT YEAR !!

Fish Brothers Honda has an excellent service department and the price of the service matched the quote I was given on the telephone. Some minor work was carried out under the extended warranty at no charge. A very good garage to deal with.

Tried to escape a warranty claim by not properly researching vehicle history or lying to me. Only after my own research did I manage to get a successful warranty claim Also found important bolts missing from under the engine upon collection of my car. Again in my opinion the garage thought it was acceptable to not fit them because they thought I wouldnt notice Also requested photo evidence into the condition of my flywheel at the time of clutch removal due to apparent previous markings from previous measurements taken. Also asked for photos of clutch due to dispute with previous fitment. No photos given General customer service was appalling and constant lies were being told to me from the very start to try and escape warranty claims. Overall I have totally lost confidence in Honda and although we have had 5 cars from them in the past this one will probably be the last.

The rapir was due to a recall so the questions are not easily relevant. The service department always appear arrogant and when warranty claim' s are mentioned are clearly on the side of Honda UK. Their general interest in getting the matter resolved to the CUSTOMERS satisfaction is none existent, not prepared to take the side of the Customer. I , like may owners have a problem of delicate paint which chips too easly. It is surprsing that this service department have never heard of the problem while their body repair shop and te sales side have. They are clearly not reresenting their customers. This does not help customer retention nor Honda UK long term. I reported a paint issue in Aril 2009. after several photographic sessions the service dept referred me to their bodyshop. I heard no response. This was raised in June this year. I had already decided I did not want a respray but was concernd that thsi was not the way to treat customers so it was mentioned. They had another look and decied it was stone chips. They did not listen to my real problem. I am a high mileage driver and so have had many cars and have used many dealerships over the years, I have never come across this arrogance and disinterest in customers issues.

The only comment I would make is that additional repairs that were quoted / advised were rather expensive compared to my local garage but I suppose that is understandable givan main dealer costs and overheads

This was a routine service carried out under a contract covering service for the first five years. The only aditional work required was the replacement of a wiper blade, prior to an MOT test.

The first years service was part of a 5 year (50k) prepaid service.

When I took my car into the garage for a service I requested 2 new tyres - as they had receommended this to me during my MOT. I was away on business so left my car with them for 2.5 days. When I came to pick the car up, no tyres had been replaced. The assistant told me he had left a message on my mobile - but nothing had been received. I now need to rearrange another visit. I haven't officially complained as I feel it's would be treated as trivial - but I'm not impressed. I've used this garage for the last 9 years and they have always been accomodating in the past. I am also not convinced that I was given a 10% reduction on my bill (as I presented a voucher) as I didn't see the original bill before they reprinted. I should have asked to see the first bill - but I failed to do this.

There was a slight delay when I picked the car up (approx 30mins) as the work wasnt finished, but some discount was added to my bill as compensation.

I have had my car from new,purchased from yourselves and it has been regularly serviced by yourselves to date and I have generally been completely satisfied with the sevice that has been provided and the helpfulness of the staff and have been happy with the standard of work carried out.

Good service as usual, apart from the lack of estimate for further work which I requested. I ended up taking the car to the repair depot separately to get this myself.

The estimated time for the service was 1 to 1.5 hours so I decided I would wait but it actually took 2.25 hours. Not a major problem but not getting the car back until 12:30 did make me slightly late for a lunch appointment. Other than that the car was returned in a nice clean manner.

My only comment was when i spoke to one of the service staff (lady) when they called to explain break pads and disks were needed they were to be done ASAP. When i collected the car the service department advised they were not actually urgent they were to be done within a couple of months. If i was told this originally i would of felt much more confortabe than to be made to feel like i shouldnt be driving the car!

I found fish brothers to have excellent costomer service. The work was completed to a high standard and on time. My final bill was explained in detail to me and my car was valeted ready for me to pick up at 3.00pm.

The only comment I would make was the car wash after the service was poor and looked worse than when I bought it in with lots of marks and smears. However the quality of the servcie as stated was very good.

The garage had serviced my car for the last 3 years, but failed to let me know that my service and MOT were due by end on january. This I think is very poor service from a main Honda dealer...

As I wanted pick up & delivery of my car from my work place I had to book at a date several weeks later than I wanted to as I was told the pick up/collection service was not avaialable any sooner. I was pleased that my car was cleaned as part of the service.

The work carried out was a straight forward handbrake lever assembly replacement following a safety recall notice. At no cost to the customer. Under normal circumstances, I would not use this garage services due to the exorbitant costs involled, both for parts and service charges. I carry out all my own servicing. I was quite grateful that this replacement was carried out at no cost, so they should be credited for that fact.

Whilst I cannot complain about the service I received from the garage what I did find totally unsatisfactory was the cost of getting the work done. To have to pay a repair bill of £1099.43 to replace a VSA module on a 3 1/2 year old car is totally unsatisfactory. Looking at various web sites it seems there are a lot of unhappy people out there with the same problem and with similar repair bills. In my opinion Honda are not doing a very good job with this issue and I like many other people will have to consider very carefully about buying a Honda in the future.

My key fob was reprogramed..so after picking my car up i had to use my keys 8 miles from home when i had to manualy lock it as my fob did not work. The alarm went off leaving me stranded in the snow with no way to turn the alarm off! I phoned Honda in Swindon and was told to get my old keys to turn off alarm,thankfuly my husband was at home and drove them out to me. If I had been "told" that my old keys needed reprograming before use i would not have used the unprogramed keys.

My car was only in the garage for an mot and because of the distance from my home it was carried out while I waited. Waiting room/services were comfortable. There was no charge as I purchased the car from them and that was the policy at the time (don't think it has changed). I did have trouble getting car to garage due to the bad weather and had to cancel first appointment, but they were very helpful and happy to make another one within a couple of days.

The visit was requested as this was 'a recall' regarding hand brake probelems. The work was carried out well before the length of time stated. Your salesman Kenan who sold us the vehicle time backl was very informative and helpful and understanding young man. Car taken to the dealer following an engine "malfunction" warning light showing. Repair involved topping up the engine oil, this was not identified in the manual as a potential reason for the warning light, but resolved the issue! Front brake discs identified as being worn to 95% of servicable use. Replaced at next available appointment. (within 2 days) Clear Fixed Price Repair. (£210.00) However No Breakdown of price available.

generally very positive as noted above... only donwside was the replacement courtesy car - this was a Jazz, very small for someone of my build, and I'm well known to the garage, and it needed petrol within 2 miles of being lent it.

Although it was convenient to have tyres fitted during the last service, Fish Brothers are not a fully equipped tyre supplier. Consequently, beyond a visual inspection, they are not able to investigate deflation of those tyres. In future I doubt whether I will use them as tyre suppliers.

One of the problems to be looked at under the new car warranty was a rattle/vibration from the drivers sun shade. I appreciate that this type of problem can be difficult to pinpoint but the rattle/vibration is still present. I have not complained to the garage yet as I wanted to allow sufficient time to see if the problem had been rectified. However, after approx 2 weeks since the car was looked at the problem still persists.

Still sending me correspondence naming Mrs Gauld when I am in fact Mr Gauld and have asked for them to change this a coupkle of times. Nothing serious just seem as if there is a slight lack of attention to detail.

This questionnaire doesn't really cover the TLC service package we have. I was pleased to be able to get a courtesy car when booking the 37,500K miles service two weeks ahead. When a full service is needed and the car left for the day it would be a real bonus and customer service to collect the car washed. Alternatively, if I could have been offered a discount full valet service? Neither is offered. I asked for a wash on a previous full service and the comment was, "if we have time".

No questions asked on value for money. Two replacement tyres £30 more than from local tyre/mot business two years ago, but appreciate convenience of one stop shop. I continue to use Honda garage for services but suspect I could get it much cheaper.

Whilst answers to the questions are good, the work carried out was front brake pad replacement, the additional work requirement was not as this involved both front and back disc replacement. This in the circumstances of the cars age and mileage (just under 3 years old and only 19,000 miles) was most alarming. The possibility of replacement under warranty was not mentioned. This latter aspect I shall be following up with Honda UK. John Pheby

When I booked an appointment , I clearly mentioned that I will be bringing an infant with me and I would need an exact time span that they would take for investigation. I was told that it would take between 30 to 45 mins for the investigation and hence I agreed for a waiting appointment and left the car and went out for a walk. But it took them 2 hours to complete it and I wasnt even given a call to let me know that they are taking more time than agreed. I had to call up for an update. I am happy with the repair they carried out.. its just the time delay and lack of communication about the delay that concerned me.
