    A major service was carried out including a replacement cambelt, and battery. An MOT was also completed. I am very happy with the work, and everything was explained to me. For an old(ish) car it performs well, and significantly better since the completion of this work.

    You really feel they know you and your vehicle. The servicing staff appear very knowledgible and if necessary you can speak to the mechanic who has carried out the servicing. They have learnt the lesson that it is wiser to look after your existing customers than always chase new ones.

    Used Godfreys since 2004 and I have always been very happy with the quality of their work and their friendly customer services. Courtesy vehicle always provided with no problem and everything explained to me as detailed on the Invoice. Never any doubts as to what work has been carried out and no nasty surprises on the bill. Long may they prosper as I enjoy my annual visit.

    Completely satisfied with the service and MOT carried out. Everything explained to me in detail. Checks on various items that I had requested were all carried out (no charge), and advice given as to whether any remedial work was required. In this case there wasn't any garge workshop work recommended.

    Godfreys is a very good garage tha say what they will do and do it. The staff are knowledgeable and pleasant. They do not try to'maximise' sales and even gave me a 15% discount. I would not hesitate to recomened this garage.

    Absolutely first class service. Very accuarate verbal estimate of costs, with full explanation of work that will be carried-out. provision of courtesy car at no extra cost was a very welcome surprise (I'm charged for this by my other car's service agent). I will have no hesitation in using this garage again.

    Excellent Service plus the free loan of a hire car for the 2 days the car was at the garage. Invoice was exactly the same as the verbal quote where the breakdown costs were explained for the extra work I requested as well as the standard rates for Service and MOT.( Including a 10% discount for customers who purchased the car at this garage.) I had reversing sensors fitted at this service and their working was explained to me when I collected the car. They were painted as the body work and were as if they had been in the car originally. The car was valeted too. In advertently I picked up an additional invoice. On arriving home ten minutes later the garage had phoned to see if this was the case and Ian drove to ashington Immediately to collect the documents when it had been my error not his. Superb Customer relations and very thorough work. Thoroughly recommended to anyone who needs a second hand Mazda or their own Mazda repaired. a unique family run garage that has great respect locally.

    Service sheet shows "disc brakes" as an item for checking "Under vehicle". If you would expect the wheels to be removed for this check to be done then it is highly unlikely that the check was done in that manner. Godfreys advised that 2 new front tyres were necessary and these were fitted (other than by Godfreys) the following day. The tyre fitters had some difficulty removing the wheels and implied it was clear that they had certainly not been removed the previous day. The tyre fitters were kind enough to clean up and grease the hubs and studs to ease removal in future.

    The staff at Godfreys are very freindly and helpful. The work always seems to be of good quality. Unfortunately service costs are rather high.
