Very competent Volvo specialist, reassuring and honest in their dealings. Very pleasant to deal with. No complaints at all.

I had been looking to have my Volvo re-tuned and after much research contacted Hamish at HLM, who was able to explain how it worked and allay any concerns I might of had. At relatively short notice I decided to have the procedure undertaken on my 10yr old V70 (128k miles). I was booked in on the understanding that I needed to leave the garage on-time to take my daughter to a hospital appointment. I arrived early (while the garage was still opening up) but was offered a very welcome cuppa, after a journey of 1hr. It was all explained to me, initial testing completed, re-tune and final test within 1hr 30 mins. I couldn't have asked for much better service. The journey home was free flowing and made even more enjoyable by the improved engine performance. In fact I had to keep checking that I was actually still in 5th gear and not 4th, such was the increased engine torque! Thank you to Hamish and Natalie.

I have used HLM for a number of years and find them very professional, friendly and accomodating. They pick my car up and deliver it back to me when the work is completed. I would recommend my friends and family to use HLM for all service and mot work.

I travelled 180 miles from Kent to have my car tuned by HLM. It was well worth the trip. Very professional and very fair with pricing. Just wish they were nearer to me!

Last month I went to HLM for an ECU remap. I had heard good things on Volvo forums. I travelled from Oxfordshire to see this Volvo specialist. First impressions were "well this guy must have a good reputation if the amount of Volvo's parked outside was anything to go by!" Hamish greeted me by name which immediately gave me confidence in him as a customer focused professional. After a H&S brief I was allowed to stay in the garage to watch him work. The garage was well kept and tidy with everything in its place, and items were put straight back after use. My car was placed on the Dyno for a "pre map" power run. The remap itself took about 5-10 minutes and was second nature to Hamish as he obviously does this on a regular basis. Then came the more important Dyno run to see the difference. I saw an increase of 30bhp and 50NM from standard. Hamish then plugged in the code reader to see if any faults were present and reset a few nuisance codes. All was well. While I was there he also called Volvo to see if any outstanding recalls were due (which there was). Hamish is a very knowledgable bloke when it comes to tuning and if I had any more upgrades in mind, he would definately be the man to see. 10/10

HLM have helped me and my wife out for over 3 years now, and the personal service received goes over and above. All the staff are friendly and helpful, and I would never go anywhere else. MOT and services, repairs and advice. When the clutch went on my wife's car, we dropped the keys in to them, they collected it from town, and we picked it up the day after - now that is service. I would recommend to anyone, anytime

Fantastic customer service from booking my car in right through to collection once the work had been completed. I was contacted prior to additional work needed to ensure my vehicle passed its MOT. I will be using this garage in the future for all of my vehicle requirements and would be happy to recommend HLM to my friend and family.

I would never trust my car to anyone else. Prices are always fair and the staff are very knowledgeable. Tuning advice, repairs, servicing & the odd rolling road day - it has always been a pleasure to come to Bromsgrove - even though I have to travel some distance to get here. Hamish is a true enthusiastic mechanic. I would heartily recommend them to anyone especially if you own a Volvo.

I choose to drive ten miles to use this garage because the owners are honest, trustworthy and know their stuff. Their extra advice comes free - as does the humour! A good honest and reliable family business that goes the extra mile to provide customer satisfaction at a very reasonable price and you know up front exactly what you will have to pay. Every time I go they have added a new string to their bow so now i can get tyres there, have my air-con re-gassed at a much better price than before, get winter tyres etc etc. They use to look after my old Discovery (RIP) and now also look after my two daughters cars. Although they say they specialise in Volvo they seem to have expertise in everything!

Both myself and my husband use HLM and have always received excellent service and workmanship. I'd happily recommend them to anyone. Very professional and also friendly.
