However, I agreed a price and suitable date for the work to be carried out and the booking was arranged. Unfortunately, on arrival, the Service Assistant was totally unaware of my booking. I pointed out to the service manager that the log book (and Landrover HQ) said it was 16,000. Marshalls Peterborough insisted the service interval is 15,000 because of this it would appear I have brought my car in to be serviced earlier than required. I need a definitive reply. What is the service interval for my car?

I also believe that a structured/timed transfer service at known times into Peterborough and back would be a better way than what appears to be a first come first serve arrangement currently in operation. Having said this I can not complain about the way I was taken into and out of town.

I now do not trust Marshall service department to properly look after a very expensive car. I will be taking this matter up with the Chief Executive or the Marshall group, BBC watchdog and Trading standards.

When I collected it I was told the knocking was because they hadn't clicked the back seats in properly! The knocking continued. You cleared the fault codes, but within 1 mile of leaving Peterborough dealership fault reappeared, but due to other commitments could not return to garage. When I reported these, the service desk arranged a time to fix them at my convenience and the work was done promptly . Surely the brake pipes could not have corroded in such a short time, or is the visual check not as thorough as I thought it would be?

I was asked to bring the car in for a roadtest on 9th July which I did (66 mile round trip) & the technician who drove it said there was definately something wrong so I booked it in for 11th July & left it there for the day (another 66 mile round trip), also mentioning that there was a vibration when it was idling. James called at about 4pm to ask if they could keep the vehicle overnight to which I agreed as long as a loan car was available, he agreed

Mr S Bone Date of feedback 05/07/2012The service advisers are always friendly and effective and are a credit to the business. The issues with the vehicle were exacerbated by severe delays with Land Rover delivering the parts which took over 6 months. I still have a fault with the vehicle which has been acknowledged but has been difficult to trace, so have been advised to keep going until it gets worse, which it has been doing for some months. I'll be glad when it is finally sourced and fixed.
