    Excellent as always! I brought a friend, a Peugeot owner along and he couldn't believe how friendly attentive and informed the Toyota ladies were at the reception and service counters. Apparently Duff Morgan staff do not treat their customers the same and he is seriously considering a change, trying to convince him on a Prius. Keep up the customer relations and together with the cars reliability you have a winning combination.

    The problem required, after an initial attempt to fix it, the replacement of a unit in the dash board. The problem has now been fixed re the absence of illuminated turning arrow...but they failed to set the clock to the correct time. I would have expected that small step to have been taken. I also didn't realise I had to take my service manual in..now I have another journey. In some ways I am nit picking but if you want to deliver the very best of service, I have to tell you.     Having recently moved from Stockport to Sutton St James. This was our first visit, we requested a Health & Safety check before travelling over to Stockport to visit friends.     The receptionist was extremely helpful, friendly and welcoming. She explained everything clearly to me and was very efficient in her duties. The reason no future work requiremtns were mentioned is because my car is only 1 year old and has done less than 4000 miles, so does not require anything at present.

    I had asked for the rear washer to be fixed...and maybe due to a misunderstanding..they only checked the front washers...but this was the only blip...otherwise they did wonderfully well...Claie Hutton exceptionally kind getting the car ready ahead of time knowing I was in a hurry.

    As always, the service was flawless and I was made to feel valued at every turn. I will never want to take my car elsewhere, and when the poor old thing (the car!) finally gives up the ghost, Marshall will have our custom. As an aside, over the years I've seen Marshall service desk deal with other customers while I waited for my car. The elderly like every customer always were dealt with especially thoughtfully and with an eye to saving money. Impressive.

    When I rang to organize the service I was told that I could drop off my car at 08.00hrs but when they left a message confirming the details they said that I couldn't drop off my car until 08.30hrs. I have to be at work at 08.30. Eventually i was able to drop the car off the night before but bit annoyed about the mix up.

    It took over 2hours to carry out a M O T and a spuce & shine. I picked up a brochure regarding loyal customers able to receive 10% off service parts etc.I asked how long it had been running and no one could help me.Also after the M O T I was told that my front brake pads were 50% worn. I found that strange as in January 2012 new pads were fitted.When I mentioned this I was told it was only a visual check I also spoke to the Manager, about my complaints one he did not no about the loyalty brochur

    I was advised that brakes felt spongy and that there wld be a check on fluid levels I don't know the result of that test, but at any rate the brakes feel worse now than before it went in for the servce and it is supposed to be the other way around.

    Clair was extremely helpful in trying to sort an administrative problem with MCA. On further investigation, it transpired EMaC had been writing to our old address No 12 Boadicea Court rather than No15, despite notification of chnage of address. No 12 is unoccupied. Had it not been for our local delivery office we would have not been able to sort out a problem with a direct debit.

    Vehicle showing the EML on. The diagnostic showed code for air flow sensor but was told I required a new ECU. Speaking to a workshop controller at another Toyota dealership and was told this was rubbish and suggested I returned the vehicle. This I done and another diagnostic check was made with the same code appearing, but after further checks was told that a replacement airflow sensor would do the trick at a fraction of the cost.     As you can see we were happy with the service department, apart from having a disagreement with the service manageress regarding the vehicles service record book, which has yet to be resolved. We found this lady very dominant, she was only prepared to listen to her own point of view and not to ours, and we found her parting comment enjoy the rest of your day" quite insulting as it was said in front of numerous other customers who were waiting behind us."

    It would have been good to have been advised from the outset how long the work would take. I understand that the mechanic working on my car was called several times to help a mate working on another car with a job requiring more than one pair of hands. I understand that this can sometimes be the case; but it would have been good to have been appraised of the fact that my waiting time would not be two but FOUR hours as a consequence.

    My only criticism is that the previous time my car was worked on I was not happy and had a big complaint with 2 of your staff. Surprise surprise for the first time in 4 years I wasn't asked to fill in a feedback questionnaire. If you want to really improve I suggest you stop cherry picking those you are going to survey.

The lady in the service department was very helpful on the phone and the gentleman who picked up and delivered my car was charming.
