    A warning light did come on during my drive home from the garage. I took the car back the following morning the y identified the problem and fixed it straight away without further charge. Overall good service and swiftly dealt with. would definitely use them again

    I have used this garage for 3 cars and a number of years,although due to a special deal made when I purchased the car I have now, I could not use Mill Lane for servicing the last 3 years. I am extremely glad that deal has finished its term so I can go back to Mill Lane. I have always trusted them believing they have my best interest at heart. A professional and customer friendly garage and they do good work too.

    During the MOT found a fault in the electrical system which was caused by a faulty fitted windscreen. Liased with the windscreen company with my authority and arranged for all repairs to be carried out relating to the electrical system. Very helpful throughout and was kept up to date all the way through. I cannot praise the garage and staff highly enoungh during what was a very stressful time.

    The work required to my vehicle was minimal but the staff quoted approx £55 for the work and confirmed it would be ready within the hour. I received a call to confirm when the vehicle was ready on time and on returning to the garage found that the cost was actually slightly cheaper than quoted - a lot of businesses these days would simply charge what they had quoted rather than pass the saving on to the customer so very happy with the service received!

    We have been using this garage for 15 years and they have always been most efficient and professional. All the staff take great pride in their work and take time to explaiin what work has been carried out and why (following a phone call for approval of course). Our cars have ranged from an old BMW, Mercedes and Ford Fiesta to a new Golf and X3. We have no reservations in recommending the garage to friends and colleagues.

    Lady Receptionist was well groomed, polite, and trained to answer my queries. Workshop was busy but very clean,as were the mechanics.I was telephoned to inform me when the car was ready.As requested, an MOT test and full service had been effected. Also, a special Honda auto oil had been ordered, at my request, from Honda, and used. I was given a thorough explanation of my bill by the receptionist and given my keys. My car was parked neatly, locked, and handbrake on. I drove away completely satisfied and will be happy to return whenever further work is needed.

    My car broke down on the way to Beverley and I was towed to Mill Lane Garage. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. They had already ordered the part before my car was towed in so that they could repair it on the following day. They also took me and all my luggage to where I was staying. The following day they rang my mobile to tell me the car was ready. I feel that they far exceeded what was required of them and gave me total peace of mind in an unfamiliar town. I am very grateful for the excellent service I received.

    My wife and I have had our cars serviced and repaired at this garage for the last five years. Before this I used to do it myself, as I was motor mechanic up to 30 years ago but I"m too old to crawl around under cars these days. Therefore I do have some experience of how a service department (as we used to call them back then) should carry out a successful business and I am sure this business is and will remain successful under the current owner.

    I have used Mill Lane for years. Their customer service is EXCELLENT - I notice you don't have a box for that! They sorted me out a courtesy car even though we hadn't arranged it in advance. And even ring me up beforehand to remind me to go in because they know I sometimes forget - that is really knowing your customer and going the extra mile.

    I have 2 fairly old Mercedes and I use this garage on a regular basis for all the work needed to maintain them in good order. I have never been disappointed. They always complete on time and at cost, having done what they said they would. In addition, necessary information is included on the check list attached to the invoice indicating where there are areas where problems could arise in future, but currently are neither unsafe or will be detrimental to the car's performance. This garage gives me confidence in my cars safety and operation.

    The garage fit me in in a timely manner. They came to pick my car up from my workplace and also offered to drop it back off which is an excellent service when you don't work near to the garage. They also cleaned the car for me which was an unexpected bonus. The people I spoke to at the garage, both when booking the car in and on the day of the service/MOT, were all very good and explained any repairs that were needed.

    We have lived in Beverley since 1994 and have had all of our cars serviced with them. the service is superb and customer relations can only be described as exceptional and unlike the Major Dealer for Peugeot who did not detect,whilst under warranty an issue with the coil on a 307, Mill Lane detected the fault and it was repaired the same day.

    My car failed it's MOT for a crack in the windscreen, the nominated repair companies that my insurance use were fully booked due to the bad spell of weather. The staff at Mill Lane Auto did everything in their power to get me a replacement screen in a timely manner, they even helped me with the insurance and invoicing. When we found out it would take 24 - 48 hours to arrange, they gave me a courtesy car. Good garages are hard to find, now that I've found one, I'll be recommending it to all my friends.

The purchase of a newer car and an agreed servicing plan with the seller prevents me from using Mill Lane for servicing.
