    After having my service seven days later it failed its MOT due to the fact a leaking n/s shock absorber was leaking oil. I telephoned Renault in Liverpool and was told someone would get back to me in 20 minutes, eleven days later I am still waiting. I was told by a woman that all services are filmed and she would check to make sure the shock absorbers had been checked. So for this reason I feel I could not recommend Renault to anybody.

    Car broke down on Friday 16 May, it was already booked in for it's first service on Wednesday 21 May. No attempt was made to repair or return the car until Wednesday. I had to phone about the hire car, about the repair and when it would be ready. At no time was I kept informed. A promise to call back from Dacia customer service on Tuesday, didn't happen until Wednesday.

    I find the service from appoinment to collection to be easy arranged,as I always await on the premises forto collect my car.As I have some walking difficultiesI find ths a great arrangement,and the waiting area has refreshments and tv to pass the couple hours it may take.An heservice staff areare always cheerfull and courteuos in their manner

    WHEN I BOOKED MY CAR IN FOR THE REPLACEMENT SEAT BELTS I DROPPED MY CAR OFF AT RENAULT ON THE AGREED DATE TO GET THE WORK DONE AND THEN TO HAVE THE MOT CARRIED OUT - I THEN RECEIVED A PHONE CALL FROM RENAULT LATER THAT SAME DAY TO SAY THAT THEY HAD NOT YET ORDERED THE SEAT BELT PARTS BUT THEY HAD GONE AHEAD AND DONE THE MOT (KNOWING FULL WELL THAT IT WOULD FAIL BECAUSE OF THE SEAT BELTS - INSTEAD OF FITTING THE NEW SEAT BELTS THEN DOING THE MOT!!! - THIS MEANT I HAD TO GO BACK TO PICK MY CAR UP AND RETURN ON ANOTHER DAY ONCE THEY HAD RECEIVED THE SEAT BELT PARTS - THIS MADE ME ANGRY AS I DID NOT SEE THE POINT OF BOOKING MY CAR IN ONLY TO BE TOLD I HAD TO COLLECT IT AGAIN AND BRING IT BACK A 2nd TIME WHEN I HAD SPECIFICALLY BOOKED MY CAR IN TO GET THE WORK DONE THEN HAVE AN MOT TEST - INSTEAD RENAULT DID THE MOT BEFORE FITTING THE NEW SEAT BELTS - THEREFORE THE CAR WAS BOUND TO FAIL THE MOT - WHY DIDN'T RENAULT DO THE REPAIR WORK FIRST THEN FOLLOW THE WORK UP WITH THE MOT? I SHOULD NOT HAVE HAD TO MAKE A 2ND VISIT AS WHEN I BOOKED THE CAR IN FOR THE NEW SEAT BELTS I HAD ALREADY AGREED THAT I WANTED THE WORK DOING - THIS WAS PRECISELY WHY I DROPPED THE CAR OFF ON THE AGREED DATE - WHEN I DROPPED THE CAR OFF AT RENAULT THE LADY IN THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT EVEN REPEATED THE AGREED PRICES FOR THE SEAT BELTS AND CHEERILY TOLD ME "LEAVE IT WITH US" IMPLYING THAT RENAULT WOULD BE GETTING ON WITH THE SEAT BELT WORK FOLLOWED BY THE MOT - I WAS HORRIFIED WHEN RENAULT RANG ME LATER TO TELL ME THEY HAD NOT EVEN ORDERED THE PARTS!!! EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING AND ANNOYING AS I HAD TO TWICE MAKE ARRANGEMENTS WITH A WORK COLLEAGUE TO MEET ME AT RENAULT TO TAKE ME TO WORK IN ELLESMERE PORT (SOME 15 MILES AWAY)

    Overall, I experienced excellent customer care from the team. Warm welcome and excellent communication. I received clear explanation in details of what needed to be done about my car. I was particularly impressed by the high level of professionalism and competence exhibited by the staff who attended to me, going an extra mile to offer valuable advice and recommendations. I felt valued and special to the team because of the way I was treated. The genuine constant smiles and kind words from the staff members, coupled with the fantastic aumbiance and high competence level among members of staff, made the whole experience worthwhile.     I paid �15000 for a car ... soon it was apparent that the roof was leaking and Renault Liverpool told me they would replace the faulty panel. They took it in for one week to repair it but then I was told that replacing the panel was too expensive so they would re-bond the part. As I drove it away the same leak was apparent. They had clearly not even attempted to fix it. It is now in again and after three days I have not heard from Renault. Furthermore, my own insurance has no voluntary excess but to drive around in a courtesy car has an excess of �250 ... this is outrageous. I would NEVER recommend Renault to anybody. I will be looking for a refund in the next week if this situation is not resolved.
