    I have used Roy Tolley Ltd for aprox 5 years now. Their facilities, staff, work carried out and attention to detail are second to none. The work carried out was an air-con re-charge. I should have paid for this but the work was completed FOC and paid by the sales department to the service department as I had only bought the car from them in the middle of March. I did not ask for this; it was just done. They truly are a good example of how a garage should be run, every time I have used them they have never disappointed. They would be a good garage to offer as an example for national bench marking to others.

    It is refreshing to go to a garage where your obsolete vehicle is looked after as if it was current. There was as much interest and care shown (including washing the vehicle) after work was carried out as if it was one of their franchised cars. The staff were helpful and were at length to get information and achieve a positive result. The work was carried out within the time stated and at the price quoted. A free loan car was provided for the duration, the only cost, the fuel I used. I will use this garage again and have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

    My only markdown on the service is that I was contacted to book my car in for service when it had already been booked in. I had also arranged for the car to be collected from my place of work - I contacted the garage in the morning to give them my work telephone number and they asked me for the address where it was being collected from, therefore I am unsure whether I would have had the vehicle collected from work had I not telephoned. Overall a good service as usual though.

    Amount and cost of work identified arising from service and MOT was a surprise but I have no reason to feel that this was none other than a genuine need to bring the vehicle up to an the required standard. The general impression is that Tolley's are well organised and operate to a high standard.

    Very disappointed with manager's attitude - after many years of being a good customer (with no problems with payments) to be told because there might be a slight delay of invoice being settled by way of BACS, was informed that vehicle would be retained until payment was cleared. After so many years of trust by myself in the garage, surely this works both ways. I trusted the garage when I was informed that there would be £700 worth of work required to enable the car to be fully serviced. I did not question that and trusted them. I have bought many vehicles from the garage and always had them serviced there but will no longer be taking our vehicles there because of this complete lack of trust and complete lack of understanding from the managerial staff there.

    I live in a rural area and the evening before my car went for service the local farmer cut his field of wheat behind our bungalow which left every thing covered in dust and bits of straw, but Tolley's made no bones about having the extra mess to clean.
