The best garage I have ever known in nearly 60 years of motoring

I have now been a regular customer for a number of years, at S K Automotive Engineers, I would thoroughly recommend them to anybody for all aspects of car maintenance, and servicing. Its nice to see even the workshop is kept clean and tidy, which in my mind signifies a superior attitude to care and consideration of customers vehicles.

SK Automotive has supplied me a number of cars and has never failed to provide a good service over this time. SK's are able to provide a complete service for todays cars. They remind me of the need for annual checks & MOT and keep me informed if necessary during the process. The knowledgable helpful staff being able to explain simply, in a language that I understand, what's wrong or when things need doing in the future, such as the rear tyres will need changing in 3 months as there showing signs of wear, all makes the whole experience a good one. I also appreciate the collection and delivery service, It is the little touches that make all the difference.

I have only had to use this garage a few times now, but the service and welcome has been very good and I have been more than satisfied with the work. It's a relief to find a place that seems to value its customers and is less concerned about chasing profits. Highly recommended.

we utilize this garage because we find them totally honest about the work they are about to carry out and do. their explanations are quite clear and never use any unnecessary jargon.their rates are in line with other garages, but much lower than the franchised garage/dealer that we are expected to use. they may be small. but the attention to detail is comforting and the knowledge that they seem to know exactly what they are doing is very comforting. we are a small company with a limited number of vehicles, and therefore the reliance on their working 24/7 is a vital ingredient. it is therefore essential that the service records and repairs are of the highest standard. if this garage gain anything from this survey, then it is richly deserved ............. and I never thought I would write such a thing about a garage.

They did my MOT while I waited at late notice. The advisory notices were explained clearly to me and I have booked it in to have the repairs it needs. Very friendly service and good coffee!

I have been using this Garage for nearly 3 years and have always found everyone concerned to be , polite, courteous,and efficient, both in the workshop and the office,the work carried out has always been to the highest standard, with the cars returned to me in a clean state, the workshop and office waiting area is also clean and tidy. The highest accolade I can lay that there door, is that I have even allowed them to work on my 1934 Chrysler which has been a concours winner, nobody else has been allowed to touch it, and the work exceeded my requiresments, not a finger print in sight.( new clutch) to name one of the jobs. In short I could not be more pleased with the work they have carried out on my behalf. I also appreciate this opportunity to let others know just in my view how good they are.

Communication between client, management and staff of this garage is excellent and to be highly recommended for their cleanliness and quality of work.

having had experience over the years of unsatisfactory work carried out by many different garages. It was great to find a garage that goes the extra mile in terms of Quality of service, help. accuracy of estimates and efficiency. Also lending a vehicle at no extra cost in the present financial climate is a real bonus. I would not hesitate to recommend this garage to friends and family. And cannot forsee the need to go elsewhere in the future. Also on the plus side my wife feels comfortable dealing with any of the staff and receives the same well explained advice and level of service as myself.

Very helpful explanation of what was wrong with the car and also to let me know that another part of the car needs replacing which I would not have known about.

I haven’t found a better garage on the Isle of Wight capable of doing just about any aspect regarding electro/ Mechanical work required. Very fast and efficient, I cannot recommend the highly enough.
