    Excellent service and very reasonable price indeed. I have a fair understanding of basic repairs and servicing and undertake some work myself, but I am very pleased with what Wilcan does - ie everything I am not confident to do myself. On this occasion, the mechanic identified further work which needed to be done. Despite it being the end of the day, he seemed very happy to explain what was required and in terms I could understand. I asked if a cam belt change would be sensible at the same time as it was in the same area of the car, but was advised it would be premature to get this done. This advice obviously meant less charge for my next repair, but makes me more confident that they can be trusted only to advise work really necessary. Thank you Wilcan. PS - they also give a complementary valet as standard.

    I have been using the services of Wilcan for over 20 years now and I am always completely confident that they will provide honest and trustworthy results. Both their workmanship and their customer relationships are excellent and they have always shown me the utmost courtesy and care when dealing with my car problems. Other members of my family also use their services and would vouch for them in similar terms. I would have no hesitation in recommending this garage to other people as I know them to be genuinely good at what they do.

    The service that received by Wincan was far above what i have ever received from any other garage i have used before. They contacted us when they found things wrong with the car and explained everything what needed doing. They showed me all the parts they replaced for piece of mind that they repaired what they said they did. The price that was given for all the work carried out was far better that what it would of been if i had taken it to a main dealer. They also washed and cleaned the car inside and out as a freebe, and also explained to me in simple terms what needed to be done in the near future with the car. I have recommended the garage to friends and family because of the fantastic service that i received while having my car serviced and MOT'd and i hope they take up my advice. With all this in mind i will be using Wincan garage for all the cars in my family. Thank you

    A small point: I don't understand why if the car had a Pre MOT inspection that it failed on lights not working! It passed later in the day. It was returned to me serviced and MOTed by the end of the day as agreed.

    I would have no hesitation in recommending Wilcan. The work carried out has always been of the highest standard and they will always try to work to short timescales when required. It is difficult to feel confident with garages (as with dentists!!) - one is always worried about being ripped off: I have full confidence that this will not happen with Wilcan.

    Wilcan provided a professional, cheerful and efficient service. I had personal access to the technician who worked on the vehicle and was given a thorough explanation of the work required beforehand and a clear explanation of the work completed afterwards - including being shown the damaged/worn parts which were replaced. The car was returned in pristine condition - looked great! The technician also gave the car a quick check a few days later - to ensure that everything was working as it should.

    My first good experience with the garage was 8 years ago, we had arrived from Newcastle trying to find our way around and we had a puncture in Wnchester Road. Popping into the garage I asked if they could mend the puncture, 'certainly' they said and they would also return the car to my address when finished! When the car came back it had been cleaned! I had never had this quality of service before, is it no wonder I stayed with this garage ever since.

    I am always treated with respect and friendlyness. In all the years I have been using Wilcan Motor Company, they have always explained, in plain english, any work which needs doing and their invoices are always very reasonably. As a woman, I do not feel as if I am being treated as if I am an idiot because I am not mechanically minded or have any real interest in cars apart from driving one. I just need to know that my vehicle is road worthy and safe for myself and other road users. I have never felt or been made to feel "inferior" because I do not know a lot about the car or the industry. I am always recommedning Wilcan Motor Company for their excellent work, polite, friendly and helpful service and reasonable invoices.
