Use our Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) service

Motor Codes offers free adjudication if you have a complaint relating to your new car warranty, service and repair or a vehicle warranty product.

Please note we can only offer our dispute resolution service for customers of businesses which are subscribed to our CTSI-approved Codes of Practice, you can find more information about our Codes and how we can help here.

Before submitting a dispute, please check that the business is a subscriber to our Codes. You can check if they subscribe to one of our codes of practice using the following links: garagescar manufacturersvehicle warranty providers. You also need to make sure you have complained to the business, and given them eight weeks to respond, before referring your dispute to us.

If the business is subscribed to our Codes, and you are unhappy with their response, you can submit a dispute to Motor Codes by completing the enquiry form below - we will then set up a case for you and invite you to supply further information. Alternatively, you can print our Consumer Enquiry Form and return it to us via post. If your issue is more urgent, then you can call 0843 910 9000* (option 1) - lines are open between 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays.

*Calls cost 7p per minute plus your phone provider's access charge

Please note: Your information including details about your complaint may be shared with any relevant third parties in addition to the subscriber during the course of investigation. This may include the garage, manufacturer and arbitration provider should the case be escalated. However your information will not be used or shared for marketing purposes.
