Motor Codes website makes it easy to find a garage you can trust

  • Search for trusted garages in your area.
  • Choose from garages ranked by customer satisfaction scores.
  • View live customer feedback on garage profile pages.

Choosing which garage to trust with your car and hard-earned cash has been made a whole lot easier by automotive industry self-regulator, Motor Codes, with the unveiling of a new website incorporating a Garage Finder that lists over 6,500 garages across the UK.

Motorists visiting the site can search the vast Motor Codes database for exactly the right garage for them, be it a main dealer, brand specialist or local independent, all of which are subscribed to the customer service principles of the Motor Codes Service and Repair Code.  The Code is independently backed by OFT, Trading Standards and government and is supported by the Motor Codes free advice, conciliation and support service.

Introducing the concept behind the revamped site, Motor Codes Managing Director, Chris Mason, explains that Garage Finder takes the uncertainty out of deciding on which garage to use, "Whether you have a new car and want to find your nearest main dealer or need a repair whilst on your travels this summer, Motor Codes can help you find a reliable, professional garage. There are tens of thousands out there, many offering excellent service and value, and our new website makes it simple and stress-free for you to find one near you that consistently provides excellent service and value."

Crucially for peace of mind, Motor Codes surveys its garage customers and feeds their opinion into its website, with garage ratings visible for all to see and customer comments viewable on individual garage profile pages.

Those garages whose customers have completed surveys build a history of endorsement and, when you search, you can make an informed choice, based on the comments of other motorists.

"Motor Codes is here to develop a network of safe haven garages, built on real word-of-mouth recommendation", adds Chris.  "After visiting one of our garages, why not complete our online survey and help us build on this, letting others know where to turn for first-rate service."
